Not every cosmetic concern has a non-surgical solution, but many of them now do. Dr. Apostolakis knows that most patients want to avoid surgery if possible, and provides less invasive options to produce remarkable results.
Our cosmetic team offers the following non-surgical treatment options:
Dysport: Dysport is one of our most popular non-surgical treatment options. Just like Botox, after we see the results of Dysport we can tweak the dosage on subsequent treatments.
Botox: Compared to Dysport, the differences in improvement are very subtle. Both treatments are a great way to eliminate wrinkles and fine lines by relaxing the muscles in your face.
Wrinkle Fillers: We offer a range of non-surgical wrinkle fillers, including Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, and Sculptra.
Lip Enhancement: Achieve fuller, voluminous lips with our injectable fillers for advanced lip augmentation results.
Laser Skin Resurfacing: Improve the look of your wrinkles, aging, scarring, and dull skin with state-of-the-art laser technology.
Matrix Laser: This CO2 resurfacing laser is strong enough to remove dull complexion and promote collagen in the dermis for youthful skin.
Not every cosmetic concern has a non-surgical solution, but many of them now do. Dr. Apostolakis knows that most patients want to avoid surgery if they can, and regularly provide less invasive options that can still produce remarkable results.
Dr. Apostolakis is a board-certified facial, head, and neck surgeon who knows which patients are perfect candidates for these procedures. Our expert team is prepared to walk you through every step of these options and ensure that you are left with the lasting, elegant results you deserve.
Our non-surgical options focus on natural, refreshed results with minimal downtime. Common treatments include neuromodulators (e.g., Botox/Dysport) for expression lines, hyaluronic acid fillers for contour and volume, laser and light resurfacing for texture and pigment, medical-grade chemical peels, microneedling, skincare programs, and targeted treatments for lips, jawline, and under-eye concerns.
Who is a good candidate for non-surgical facial rejuvenation?
Ideal candidates have early to moderate signs of aging, want subtle, natural improvements, and prefer little to no downtime. A consultation evaluates skin quality, facial structure, and goals to determine whether injectables, resurfacing, or a combination will be most effective.
What concerns can neuromodulators (Botox/Dysport) treat?
They soften dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle movement—such as frown lines (glabella), forehead lines, and crow’s feet. Select micro-dosing can also refine lip lines, chin dimpling, and down-turned mouth corners when appropriate.
Where are fillers commonly used and what do they do?
Hyaluronic acid fillers restore structure and smooth shadows. Common areas include the cheeks/midface, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, chin and jawline, lips, and (in carefully selected patients) the tear trough to soften hollowness.
How do laser resurfacing and chemical peels differ?
Both improve texture, fine lines, and discoloration. Lasers offer controlled energy delivery with adjustable depth; recovery depends on intensity (non-ablative to fully ablative). Chemical peels use solutions to exfoliate and stimulate renewal, ranging from light to medium depth with correspondingly shorter to longer downtimes.
Can non-surgical treatments tighten the jawline or neck?
Non-surgical options can subtly refine contour—such as strategic filler for jaw definition and small-dose neuromodulator for platysma bands. They do not reproduce the degree of lifting achievable with a surgical facelift/neck lift, but can be a good choice for early changes or maintenance.
How long do results last?
Neuromodulators typically last about 3–4 months. HA fillers often last 6–18 months depending on the product and area. Resurfacing and peels improve skin quality with results that accumulate over a series and are maintained with skincare and sun protection.
What is the downtime like?
Injectables have minimal downtime—temporary redness, swelling, or bruising may occur. Light peels and non-ablative devices have short recoveries. Fractionated/ablative laser around the mouth or full face may require several days to a week of visible healing.
Is it safe and are there risks?
In experienced hands, these treatments have well-established safety profiles. Typical effects include temporary swelling or bruising. Less common risks vary by procedure (e.g., asymmetry or visible filler if superficial; pigment change after deeper resurfacing). Your plan is customized to minimize risk and match your goals.
Can treatments be combined in the same plan?
Yes. Many patients benefit from a layered approach—for example, neuromodulator for expression lines, filler for contour, and resurfacing for texture and tone. Staging and timing are tailored to optimize safety, healing, and results.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
Start with a consultation. We assess facial balance, skin quality, and priorities, then recommend a personalized plan—often beginning with the most impactful, low-downtime options and building from there as needed.
Do you offer skincare guidance to maintain results?
Yes. Daily sunscreen, retinoids, antioxidants (e.g., vitamin C), and barrier support (e.g., niacinamide) help maintain procedure gains. We can tailor a medical-grade regimen to your skin type and treatment plan.
