Q: I had my Lasik done in February and I’m planning to undergo rhinoplasty in May. Will the procedure or the black eye that might follow, has any potential to affect my vision?
Dr A’s Answer: There should be no issues with having a rhinoplasty after LASIK. The bruising that can occur in the eyelid area after rhinoplasty will not affect your cornea, which is what the LASIK surgery affects. I would consult with your ophthalmologist to be certain that there are no special considerations in your case.
